Slavkov u Brna Panaroma

The Vindobona Hash House Harriers will be celebrating Hash #2269 in in Slavkov u Brna (Czech Republic). Slavkov u Brna is the site of the well-known Battle Of Austerliz (Battle of Three Emperors). This was one of the biggest and most important battles of the Napoleonic Wars on 8 December 1805. See this Wikipedia page for more about the Battle.

Slavkov u Brna is a beautiful town in the Czech Republic, not very far from Brno. Driving time from Vienna is about 2 hours (156 km) or 3 hours via train.

We will be staying at the Golf Hotel Austerlitz (see photo on the right).

We have reserved around 40 beds at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner will be at the hotel.

We are asking everyone to register now, so we know the number to expect in September. After registration, you will get an email with instructions for payment.

The all-inclusive price for the weekend is €300 (if you share a double-bed room).
A single room is €100 extra for the weekend. Please try to book a double room and share with a friend, as we do not have a lot of rooms in this hotel.

Golf Hotel Golf Hotel

This weekend fee pays for dinner Friday and Saturday night (including drinks). It also includes the room and breakfast for Friday and Saturday night. Snack lunch on Saturday is also included and drinks in the circles after each Hash..

The following schedule is provisional, subject to change, without notice.

Friday night, after registration, there will be a short Hash and dinner. Please try to get to the hotel before 6pm.

On Saturday, there will be a longish trail, with plenty of rest stops for the Walkers and extra loops for the Runners.

The theme for the party Saturday night will be Napoleon and Josephine.

On Sunday, we will have a short Hangover Hash, then we say our Goodbyes. If you stay for Sunday lunch, that's up to you to pay.

Those Vindobona's that just drive up from Viennna for Saturday Only will pay €20 plus the Haberdashery cost (if you want that).

After submitting the Registration Form, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for payment.

Friday - 18 September

15:00 Onwards check in to Hotel. The Hotel Reception will have a list of Hashers (Real Names), with room allocation, so they will hand out keys any time after 14:00. If you are planning to arrive late get delayed (after 22:00), please let us know and someone will stay up with your key.

17:00 to 17:45 Registration Desk Registration will open again after dinner and continue until everyone has arrived.

18:00 Warm-up Run, followed by a short circle. Hares: TBA

20:30 Dinner and drinks until late.

Saturday - 19 September

Breakfast from 08:00 to 09:30

09.30 After Breakfast Start for all (Walkers & Runners).
11:30 First Drink Stop Popice:
12:30 Runners arrivea at drink stop.
Walkers leave before Runners.
14.00 Arrive at Labyrinth Snack at Labyrinth.
Time for visitng Labyrinth or Bunker.
16.00 Start Direction Railway Station Bahnhof.
16.30 - 17.30 Circle & DDs at Station.
17.40 Departure to Znojmo on Expresszug.
19:00 Dinner in Hotel

Sunday - 20 September

Breakfast from 08:00 to 10:00

10:00 Latest Checkout Time. Please checkout before the Hangover Hash. We will arrange a place where you can store your bags during the Hangover Hash, if you don't have a car.

10:00 Hangover Hash, followed by circle and goodbyes. Lunch is not provided in the run fee.

Monday - 9 September

We will have our normal Hash at 6:30 pm somewhere in Vienna and you are welcome to join us there.
